Broken Glass

S. Bradley's debut novel, Broken Glass, is a layered psychological thriller that explores the shifting architecture of power, identity, and legacy through the eyes of women who’ve survived more than they’ve spoken aloud. At the center is Nessira TiSonu, a commanding CEO with a meticulously curated life and an empire built on precision and poise. But beneath the surface of her controlled world stirs something bigger, quieter, and far more dangerous—an under current of protection, pain, and quiet rage.

As her professional life collides with unresolved trauma and unexpected intimacy, Nessira finds herself surrounded by a chosen and true family: Terra, her younger sister raising a daughter in the shadow of past violence; Andrika, her unswerving right hand who sees everything and says nothing; and Jordas, a man who may finally challenge her belief that control and connection are mutually exclusive.

Narrated in part by the past that haunts and holds them—this is a story of women grappling with what it means to be safe, seen, and sovereign in a world that often offers them none of those things.

Intimate, tense, and atmospheric, Broken Glass is not about whether the past will catch up—but whether surviving it was ever enough.

If you liked the emotional precision of My Dark Vanessa, the haunting duality of The Push, the atmospheric tension of The Secret History, or the layered unreliability of Eileen, then Broken Glass Notes belongs on your shelf.

It’s for readers who crave psychological thrillers that simmer rather than explode, where the scariest thing in the room isn’t a killer—it’s memory, power, and the versions of ourselves we lock in the dark.
